FCMB raises FastCash instant loan llimit to ₦500,000

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has raised the limit on its FastCash instant loan to ₦500,000. This adjustment enables eligible customers to access more funds for unforeseen expenses and other short-term financial requirements. The increased limit is now available 24/7 through the FCMB Mobile App and by dialling 32911#. FastCash provides customers with speedy access to credit without the need for collateral, paperwork or a guarantor. Applying digitally is possible without visiting a branch.

Eligibility is determined by customers’ transaction activity. FCMB account holders must have maintained an account for at least three months to qualify. Returning customers that meet the criteria may enjoy repayment periods up to 90 days. Tunji Lamidi, Divisional Head of Personal Banking at FCMB, explained that the higher limit addresses customers' need for swift access to short-term financing.

He noted, "Financial demands can arise without warning, and customers now expect their bank to respond just as rapidly. By raising the FastCash limit to ₦500,000, we are providing eligible customers with more flexibility to manage short-term needs through familiar channels, without paperwork or a branch visit."

Customers who have not utilized their full eligible loan amount can also apply for a FastCash top-up, contingent on eligibility. The upgrade to the FastCash limit is part of FCMB's ongoing commitment to make everyday banking and credit more accessible through digital channels, offering customers enhanced flexibility in managing their finances via the FCMB Mobile App and USSD banking platform.
