Priyanshu Verma, a resident of Ujjain and an engineer with a road construction company, was waiting for transport at 7:30 pm when three youths on two bikes approached him on Aerocity Road.
The suspects allegedly threatened him with a knife, took him near a bridge, and snatched his gold chain and mobile phone. Another incident occurred two days prior when painter Ashok was waiting for a ride to Karond around 1 am.
