Dream becomes reality as couple takes over outback pub

Yunta, a small town in outback South Australia, is thriving once again after two locals, Jacki and Rob Williams, took over the Yunta Hotel, a 127-year-old establishment that had been closed for several months. The couple, who had been working at the Peterborough Caravan Park for six years, had long harbored the dream of owning a pub. Jacki, who had previously worked at Australia's most haunted pub, North Kapunda Hotel, admitted that Rob had no prior experience but was eager to learn.

Since reopening, the couple has been embraced by the community, who welcomed them with open arms. The Yunta Hotel, built in 1899, underwent some necessary plumbing repairs before being reopened seven days a week. The couple expressed their gratitude for the support they've received, with Jacki even getting emotional as she witnessed the community's enthusiasm.
