Doctor Doom Takes Back “Stolen Lives” in Avengers: Doomsday Trailer: Watch

An extended trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, unveiled at Disney's D23 fan event on August 15th, showcased Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Doctor Doom. The clip began with Sue Storm, played by Vanessa Kirby, ominously addressing Doom, stating, "He used to be kind. He used to be caring. And then, everything he loved was taken from him.

I knew he was lost, but I did not realize that he was broken." The trailer featured Doom conversing with fellow Avengers including Thor, Shang-Chi, Black Panther, and others. Mister Fantastic, played by Pedro Pascal, questioned Doom, asking if he was responsible for a worldwide apocalypse. Doom's chilling response was, "All of you have lived stolen lives.

Now you must give them back." The trailer concluded with Thor fruitlessly trying to confront Doom one-on-one, only for Doom to effortlessly repel him, declaring, "Hell answers to me. For I am Doom." Directed by the Russo brothers, this installment aims to reset the Marvel Cinematic Universe before the release of Avengers: Secret Wars in 2023.

The cast also includes Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, and other notable actors, many of whom appeared in the first trailer. Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters on December 18th.
