‘Different than other places’: Eli Heidenreich waxes poetic about Steelers debut

Eli Heidenreich's entrance into the Pittsburgh Steelers marked a profoundly emotional experience for the young athlete. Dressed in his service dress blues, he proudly draped a Terrible Towel over his shoulders as he listened to his name called in the green room following the April draft. The nickname "Swiss Navy Knife" was bestowed upon him by Steelers running backs coach Ramon Chinyoung, who also hailed him as "probably the greatest seventh-round pick we’ve ever made" according to team president Art Rooney II.

Heidenreich made his debut in his No. 29 black and gold jersey during Thursday night's preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, carrying the ball nine times for 21 yards.
