Congress fighting nationwide to protect Constitution, says Ramesh Chennithala

Indian National Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala asserted during the 80th Independence Day celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram that Congress is actively engaged in a nationwide battle to safeguard the Constitution and its values, while attempts are being made across the country to undermine these principles and foment communalism.

The Kerala Home Minister stated that the party has built its foundation on a legacy of eight decades of development and progress under its leadership. Chennithala emphasized that commemorating Independence Day will bolster the Congress's efforts to defend constitutional ideals. Representatives from the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee, including KPCC General Secretary Neyyattinkara Sanal and Political Affairs Committee members Cherian Philip, V.S. Sivakumar, and Pandalam Sudhakaran, were among the attendees at the event.
