Bonnie Tyler fans line the streets of a Welsh village as her coffin is brought home

Fans of the late singer Bonnie Tyler lined the streets of a Welsh village on Saturday as her coffin was transported back home. The Grammy-nominated Welsh pop star, famous for her hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart," passed away last month in a hospital in Portugal at the age of 75. Hundreds gathered in Mumbles, near Swansea, to pay their respects to the artist who was beloved worldwide.

Dozens left flowers at the singer’s former residence, while others waited outside, expressing how Tyler’s music had deeply touched them. Born as Gaynor Hopkins, Tyler grew up in Skewen, Wales, the daughter of a coal miner with three sisters and two brothers. Her 1983 power ballad catapulted to the top of charts in Britain and the United States, amassing over a billion streams.

A memorial service for Tyler will take place in Swansea on Monday, followed by her final journey through her hometown of Skewen.
