Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leaves after collision with Yankees’ George Lombard Jr. at third

The incident occurred in the sixth inning while the Blue Jays were trailing 1-0. Guerrero was advancing towards third base when Lombard attempted to make a play, resulting in their collision.

Guerrero's helmet was knocked off during the incident, and although he managed to score the tying run, he appeared disoriented post-run. The team later replaced him with Charles McAdoo at first base for the seventh inning. Guerrero has a batting average of .263 this season, along with seven home runs and 46 RBIs.
