Barron returns pick 97 yards for a TD as Stidham leads Broncos to runaway 27-7 win over Falcons

Jarrett Stidham showcased his skills in Denver's preseason opener, leading the Broncos to a commanding 27-7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Stidham's highlight came when he completed a 97-yard interception return for a touchdown by Jahdae Barron, a crucial play in the Broncos' runaway win. Stidham completed nine of his fifteen passes for 131 yards, including a five-yard scoring pass to Jaleel McLaughlin, which set Denver up for a 24-0 halftime lead.

After Stidham's performance, Sam Ehlinger stepped in and completed 10 of his 14 passes for 67 yards, leading the Broncos to victory. The Falcons, meanwhile, struggled, completing just three of their five passes for 22 yards. Running back Bijan Robinson and wide receiver Drake London were present but did not see any action. The Falcons' defense, led by second-year edge rusher James Pearce Jr., managed to make two tackles but ultimately, the Broncos' strong offensive performance secured the win.
