Adeleke claims arrest of Osun PDP chairman, demands immediate release

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has strongly denounced the reported arrest of his PDP party chairman, Sunday Bisi. The governor demanded Bisi's immediate release, describing the situation as an attack on the democratic process and the abuse of law enforcement. Adeleke alleged that Bisi was arrested at his home in Ilesa following the recent Osun governorship election, without providing concrete evidence to support the claim.

He further accused the APC party of colluding with compromised security agents to prevent monitoring of election results at collation centers. The governor called for Bisi's immediate release and the release of other political prisoners in Osun state, emphasizing that elections should be about people freely choosing their leaders without threats or force.
