World Vision Ghana brings hope to Krachi West with 10,000 worth of clothing, sandals

World Vision Ghana recently provided over 10,000 worth of clothing, sandals, and essential items to more than 6,200 vulnerable individuals in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region. The donation aimed to alleviate daily challenges faced by families and improve living conditions for children, women, and men alike. Out of the beneficiaries, 2,085 were girls, 1,753 were boys, 1,441 were women, and 921 were men.

Kete-Krachi Cluster Manager Augustine Nyaaba explained that the intervention targeted both immediate needs and long-term community development. He emphasized that access to basic necessities like clothing and footwear could significantly impact children's education, enabling them to feel confident and focused in school. This donation, unique due to its inclusion of new clothing and footwear provided by World Vision Ghana's partners in Canada, encouraged community members to maintain strong partnerships with the organization.

Beneficiaries, including students and parents, expressed gratitude for the timely support, noting that the items would help address clothing and footwear deficiencies and motivate children to remain in school. Community members also called on other organizations, businesses, and development partners to follow World Vision Ghana's example by supporting vulnerable families and contributing to community development in the municipality.
