Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin has embraced Sugar Ray's classic hit "Every Morning" for her Triple J debut. The 28-year-old, known for her love of the alt-rock and pop blend, shared her appreciation for the track, which she listened to as a young child. Jacklin explained, "I’ve liked it since I was a little kid. I love any way to connect with my younger self as much as I can.

I feel like we were singing it together: me now, and her back then." The singer believes the song evokes a sense of gratitude for life and a connection to the source of life's essence. Jacklin's next album, titled "The Gem," is set to release on September 25 via her new label, 4AD. The EP, named after a Melbourne pub where she recorded it with her band, showcases her musical growth since her last solo work.
