Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik Inspects Pune Station Bus Stand, Directs Officials To Fix Lapses

Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik toured the Pune Station bus stand on Friday, emphasizing the need for immediate improvements to address deficiencies and ensure passengers have access to clean, safe and quality amenities. During the inspection, Sarnaik examined facilities such as the lactation room, drinking water facilities, toilets and other basic amenities.

He requested officials provide details on observed shortcomings and instructed them to take corrective measures promptly. Sarnaik stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness, ensuring proper upkeep of toilets, providing drinking water and enhancing facilities for women passengers. He directed officials to ensure passengers do not face inconvenience due to inadequate basic amenities.

Sarnaik interacted with passengers to gather their feedback on ST bus services, facility quality and travel-related difficulties. He reiterated that passenger safety, convenience and access to basic amenities are top priorities for the MSRTC.
