Top storylines for Greater Cincinnati girls volleyball teams in 2026

As the high school volleyball season approaches in Greater Cincinnati, several key storylines will shape the upcoming competition in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Seton, with their impressive 41-match unbeaten streak, will be a focal point. The Saints, who last lost on September 26, 2024, have six returning seniors and five DI commitments. They face a tough challenge in the Columbus Invitational Tournament and will conclude their season with games against Mercy McAuley, Mason, Anderson, and McNicholas.

Cincinnati is likely to see at least four teams qualify for the state tournament, including two-time defending champion Seton. St. Ursula, Loveland, and Mason, who have reached the regional finals twice, are also contenders.
