Thai actor claims father assaulted by gang, locals give conflicting accounts

A Thai actor is claiming his father was assaulted by a gang outside of a condominium in Bangkok, according to reports. However, residents in the area have given conflicting accounts of the incident. Rattanon "Neft" Suk-ubon, the actor, said he reported the incident to Bang Khen Police Station, but there has been no progress. Neft's mother-in-law, however, alleges that her husband's assailants included a member of the condominium's juristic team, who threatened her with 30,000 baht to end the legal proceedings.

Neft described his father's injuries as including facial bone fractures, a broken jaw, and a brain hemorrhage. Despite Neft's and his mother-in-law's claims, other locals told Channel 8 that Kantapong, his father, had a history of causing disturbances in the community and had been involved in a prior altercation on the day of the incident.
