Taufiq tetap harap Anwar jadi PM penggal kedua

Taufiq Johari, the deputy leader of the Youth Wing of the PKR, expressed hope that Anwar Ibrahim would continue to serve as Prime Minister for the second term, despite the party's repeated setbacks in recent elections. In his opening remarks at the PKR National Congress at the Malaysia International Trade Centre (MITC), Taufiq said that hope remains strong for the second term, even if Pakatan Harapan's (PH) performance continues to fall short in upcoming elections.

Taufiq emphasized that the party's struggle should not be measured solely by election results. Instead, PKR remains a powerful political platform that offers a bright future for the younger generation. The party has promised a formidable strength for the nation, as proven by President Anwar's ability to lead the government effectively, with dignity, glory, and greatness, he said.

Despite facing significant political challenges, including less exciting election results in past polls, Taufiq urged party members not to lose heart or abandon the struggle. He stated that PKR must learn from past decisions and continue to provide space for a new generation to lead the party. The opportunities given to the younger generation in PKR have proven that the party is always ready to undergo transformation in terms of leadership, he added.
