Taufiq tetap harap Anwar jadi PM penggal kedua

Taufiq Johari, the Deputy Leader of PKR's Youth, expressed hope that Anwar Ibrahim would continue to serve as the Prime Minister for a second term, despite the party's repeated setbacks in recent elections. He emphasized that the party's aspirations should not be evaluated solely based on election results, and PKR still possesses the strength to remain a political platform offering hope to the younger generation.

The party has promised a formidable future for our nation, proven by our president, Anwar, who dissolved the government today with distinction, honor, and excellence. Taufiq reiterated that the PKR party will continue to lead and remain the Prime Minister for a second term, in his address at the National PKR Congress held at the International Convention Centre Melaka (MITC).

Acknowledging the party's significant political challenges, including unexciting results in some recent elections, Taufiq assured that such outcomes should not dishearten party members or lead them to abandon the struggle. He stressed that PKR must learn from past outcomes and continue providing space for a new generation to lead the party.

The opportunities extended to the younger generation within PKR prove that the party is always ready for renewal in leadership, he added.
