Police looking for two women who allegedly stole gold bracelet (video)

Two women are sought by police after allegedly stealing a gold bracelet worth approximately RM16,000 from a gold shop in Batu 8, Kampung Batu Enam, Kuala Terengganu, according to prosecutors. The theft is believed to have taken place at 10:59 am, before being noticed by the salesperson who lodged a report at the Kuala Terengganu District Police Headquarters.

The salesperson only discovered the loss of a 28.01-gram gold bracelet during a stock check at 10:25 pm. Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, police identified two female suspects who entered the shop, pretending to be customers. One of the suspects attempted to try on several gold bracelets but failed to remove one, instead choosing to hide it under the sleeve of her robe.

The suspect then deliberately dropped the bracelet on the floor, stepped on it, and placed it in her handbag before leaving the store. The women left the shop, claiming they needed money for a payment, but did not return. Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Azli Mohd Noor shared these details in a statement.
