Palestinians in West Bank village remain under Israeli settler siege for sixth day

For the past six days, the residents of the West Bank village of Qusra have endured a siege orchestrated by Israeli settlers, despite an Israeli army operation that was meant to alleviate their plight. The siege began on Sunday when a group of settlers encircled three homes on a hilltop in Qusra, near Nablus. They erected tents at the entrances, allegedly in an effort to compel the families to vacate their homes and grant the settlers control over them.

The settlers have since severed the families' access to water and electricity, leaving them, including children, trapped within their homes and struggling to secure food and medication. When the families reached out to the Israeli army for assistance, soldiers arrived but were captured on video drinking and praying with the settlers, rather than facilitating their removal.
