Pakistan celebrates 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervour

Pakistan commemorated its 79th Independence Day on Friday with patriotic fervor across the nation. The festivities commenced at midnight, as cities were adorned in green and white hues, and homes, markets, and public buildings proudly displayed the national flag. In Islamabad, spectacular fireworks painted the night sky, while crowds gathered, waving flags and chanting nationalistic slogans.

Official ceremonies honored the country's rich history and national identity, with people clad in green and white joining the celebrations alongside their families.

Karachi was aglow with the occasion, as major roads, buildings, and landmarks were festively decorated in national colors and flags. Across Pakistan, various acts of devotion, flag-raising ceremonies, patriotic songs, rallies, and community events echoed throughout the day, showcasing an unwavering spirit of national pride and unity.
