OpenAI Appoints Former Wiz Executive Dali Rajic as Chief Revenue Officer

OpenAI has announced the appointment of former Wiz executive Dali Rajic as chief revenue officer, according to a Thursday blog post. Rajic's role will involve leading the company's global revenue organization and developing the necessary revenue operating system to scale for the next generation of AI models. These models are expected to transform not only how work is done but also how companies are structured and operate.

Rajic will succeed Denise Dresser, who is set to continue working closely with the business team during a transition period before pursuing other opportunities. Dresser, a former Slack CEO, joined OpenAI as chief revenue officer in December. Her role has been to oversee the company's global revenue strategy across enterprise and customer success, helping more businesses integrate AI into their daily operations.

In a LinkedIn post, Dresser shared that she had made the difficult decision to leave OpenAI to explore other opportunities. Throughout her tenure, she played a significant role in doubling the number of weekly active users and businesses utilizing OpenAI's products.

Greg Brockman, OpenAI's president and co-founder, praised Rajic, noting that he brings expertise in managing metrics-driven organizations that scale globally and cater to large enterprises and technical customers. At Wiz, which was acquired by Google in March, Rajic had been the president and chief operating officer, contributing to the company's rapid growth as one of the fastest-growing cyber firms.

Rajic expressed his enthusiasm about joining OpenAI and building upon the existing momentum to lead the revenue organization as the company continues to help customers unlock the full potential of AI.
