Google has introduced Gemini 3.7 Flash, highlighting it as its most powerful workhorse model for coding and AI agent tasks. Despite the rollout of Gemini 3.7 Flash on August 13, the company is still holding off on releasing its long-awaited flagship model, Gemini 3.5 Pro. Gemini 3.7 Flash is built upon developer feedback and internal algorithmic advancements, coming just three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash.

The new model excels in coding and agent workflows, improving accuracy and precision for tasks such as debugging, issue resolution, and generating production-ready code. Benchmarks indicate that Gemini 3.7 Flash outperforms its predecessor in software engineering tasks and web development, generating functional layouts and feature-complete applications using fewer prompts.

Pricing for Gemini 3.7 Flash starts at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens, which is roughly half the cost of the previous model. The model is accessible via Google Antigravity, Google AI Studio, Android Studio, and available to users through Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Despite the frequent updates, a release date for Gemini 3.5 Pro remains undisclosed, with industry reports hinting at delays due to an internal focus on strengthening coding capabilities.
