F1 Bahrain GP Ticket Prices Now Official; Prior Leak Accurate

The official ticketing page for the Formula 1 (F1) Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix has been restored, validating the ticket prices initially leaked earlier this week. This means Malaysian enthusiasts can secure three-day passes for the event, originally moved from Bahrain to Malaysia due to regional political conflicts. Set to run from October 2nd to 4th, 2026, the race retains its Bahrain Grand Prix branding, with ticket sales and revenue managed by the Bahrain International Circuit.

Malaysian residents can access six different seating categories, with the most affordable option at RM200 for the G Hillstand. Other categories, such as B and C Hillstands, C and F Grandstands, K1 and Main Grandstands, fall between RM809.60 and RM2,083.40 inclusive of tax. These discounts are exclusively for Malaysian citizens, who must provide a valid MyKad during purchase.

Infants under three years old can attend complimentary, without assigned seats, while children aged three to six receive a 25% discount on tickets, excluding the G Hillstand. For non-Malaysian attendees, the cheapest three-day ticket begins at US$218.90 (~RM894) for the C Hillstand, with similar terms for discounted pricing and children under 6.

Prices are initially shown in Malaysian Ringgit, but purchases are ultimately processed in Bahraini dinars based on exchange rates at the time of transaction. While ticket sales are currently active on the Bahrain GP website, organizers have faced high demand from Malaysian fans, causing temporary disruptions.
