Ex-minister Fedorov files electronic declaration upon dismissal

Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has filed an electronic declaration of assets and income following his dismissal from office. The declaration, submitted on August 13, reports his salary of UAH 1,158,180 during the period from January 1 to July 16, 2026. His wife earned UAH 4,250,785 from her entrepreneurial activities over the same timeframe.

The declaration also lists UAH 1.4 million in bank accounts belonging to Fedorov, while his wife declared UAH 598,800 and $15,000 in cash. In terms of property, Fedorov owns an apartment in Kyiv, rents a non-residential space, and utilizes two parking spots. His wife owns a land plot in the Zaporizhia region and rents additional non-residential properties in Kyiv.

The former minister also uses his wife's cars, a 2019 Audi Q8 and a 2016 Audi A4. Fedorov and his wife jointly own the SMMSTUDIO and COVER trademarks, respectively. Upon his dismissal, Fedorov thanked President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on July 23 for the positions offered to him but stated he wants to have a tangible impact on the war effort and would not accept any role other than defense minister.
