BN Pahang mahu kekal kerajaan perpaduan bersama PH hingga PRU16

The chairman of the Barisan Nasional (BN) Pahang, Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, expressed his hope that the unity government would continue until the 2016 general election. As the Pahang Chief Minister, he stated that his party remains committed to ensuring the welfare of the people in the state. During the closing of the Pahang Continuous Contribution Initiation Council to Continue Education Abroad 2026 in the Sri Pahang State Complex, Wan Rosdy expressed his hope that the unity government would be able to remain in power until PRU16.

In the 2015 general election, BN and Perikatan Nasional each won 17 seats in the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN), while PH secured eight seats. Pahang has a total of 42 DUN seats. Wan Rosdy clarified that BN Pahang is open to working with any party to face the upcoming PRU16. Regarding the meeting, he stated that his party allocated RM118,000 to 118 students from higher education institutions in preparation for their continued education in Egypt and New Zealand.

Additionally, the Pahang government contributed USD1,000 through the Pahang Foundation to students who will continue their studies in Jordan and Maghreb. Wan Rosdy emphasized that the Pahang Continuous Contribution Initiative will not end here, but rather expand and improve over time. He also mentioned that they are considering the curriculum offered, with a focus on courses that include Islamic elements and relevant fields of study.
