ASEAN Cup: More than 10 venues to screen Singapore-Thailand semi-final live

Football fans in Singapore and Thailand will have several opportunities to watch the ASEAN Hyundai Cup semi-final live, with more than ten venues across the country hosting screenings. The first leg of the match between Singapore and Thailand is scheduled for August 15 at Jalan Besar Stadium, with kick-off at 9pm. Due to high demand, tickets for the home match at Jalan Besar Stadium were sold out quickly, but fans can still enjoy the game through live screenings at various venues.

West Coast Community Centre is one of the locations preparing to welcome fans for the match, with its interior decorated in Singapore's national colors and equipped with sufficient seating for spectators of all ages. Committee member Prakash Kumar Hetamsaria highlighted strong interest in the screenings, particularly since tickets sold out, emphasizing the opportunity for residents to gather and bond together during the event.

Thailand's Football Association of Singapore has secured all 250 tickets allocated to them for the semi-final. Thai supporters planning to watch the match either inside the stadium or outside have expressed their enthusiasm, with some intending to gather outside the stadium to hear the sounds and sing Thai songs. Thailand's supporters are also planning to meet other fans arriving from Thailand at the airport and discuss their plans for showing support during the match.

Screenings of both the first leg on Saturday and the second leg on Tuesday in Bangkok will take place in various community centers, including Our Tampines Hub, Kallang Wave Mall, Tampines North, and Woodlands. Fans can watch the ASEAN Hyundai Cup live or on-demand until August 26 on mewatch.
