Alleyne joins Burnley on season-long loan

Max Alleyne will be spending the 2026/27 season on loan at Championship side Burnley. The 21-year-old defender made appearances during Manchester City's pre-season tour in Asia, but will now join Turf Moor as the club tries to return to the Premier League. Alleyne previously joined Watford on a season-long loan in August 2025, playing 17 games for the Hornets and impressing with his performances.

He was recalled to City in January 2026 due to a defensive injury crisis at the club and made his senior debut against Brighton. Alleyne scored his first senior goal in a 10-1 FA Cup victory over Exeter City and went on to make seven appearances for City until the defensive issues were resolved. City has wished Alleyne luck for the upcoming season.

Premier League 2026/27 home tickets are now available for purchase, with general admission tickets open to Premium, Matchday and Junior Members, while Season Ticket Members can also buy additional tickets for selected games.
