Aktivis reformasi hanya mahu agenda disempurnakan, kata NGO pro-PKR

A pro-PKR NGO led by former PKR deputy Yusmadi Yusoff has cautioned the party that activists fighting for reform only wish to see the agenda perfected. The Generation Justice organization stated that success in government must be translated into tangible changes felt by farmers, miners, workers, young people, students, the underprivileged, people of Sabah and Sarawak, and families.

Yusmadi Yusoff emphasized that sincere support must be accompanied by courage in delivering the people's voice respectfully and responsibly. Loyalty to the leader is not just about the courage to defend them when attacked, but also the courage to convey the truth before it's too late, according to the statement, as reported at the PKR National Congress in Melaka.

Yusmadi emphasized that the party was not formed solely to win elections, but to improve the way power is used. The true test of reform is not when we demand power, but when we are given power, he said. The Generation Justice NGO, reported to be inclined toward PKR, urged all party members to strengthen unity, return politics to serving the people, and ensure the reform struggle continues to be passed on to future generations.

Former reformists do not ask for sacrifices to be exchanged for positions, they want reform perfected. We have brought a reformist to Putrajaya, now we must bring reform to the people, Yusmadi said.
