Zakes Bantwini expands his global reach with new double single 'Impatient' and 'You Never Know'

Grammy-winning South African artist Zakes Bantwini has broadened his global electronic music presence with the launch of his latest double single, "Impatient" and "You Never Know," on Anjunadeep, a leading international electronic music label. The collaboration features South African stars Sun-El Musician and emerging artist kisskisskiss for "Impatient," while "You Never Know" includes London-based producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Arts.

Anjunadeep, known for its melodic, progressive, and atmospheric sound, boasts a roster of well-established and emerging artists. This move solidifies Bantwini's position as one of the South African artists bringing African electronic music to the world stage. With over two decades of experience in Afro-house and a Grammy Award in 2023 for Best Global Music Performance for 'Bayethe,' Bantwini has gained international acclaim, including hits like "Osama" with Kasango, which has amassed over 60 million streams and topped South African radio for 14 consecutive weeks.

The new single sees Bantwini reunite with Sun-El Musician, whose catalog includes hit songs like "Akanamali," and is set to further elevate his global reach.
