White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has announced her departure from the administration of President Donald Trump, citing the need for more time with her young children as the primary reason behind her decision. In a social media post, Leavitt revealed that her return to the White House briefing room following the birth of her second child had made it increasingly challenging for her to balance the demanding nature of her job with her family life.

According to Leavitt, she felt unable to provide the best care for her two young children while still dedicating the necessary time, energy, and attention to the role of White House Press Secretary. Despite the personal challenges she faced, Leavitt expressed her respect for the President and indicated that she would continue to play a significant role within the Republican Party during this transitional period.

The President acknowledged her decision in his own post, stating that Karoline would now serve as one of his top outside advisors and an influential voice in shaping Republican efforts ahead of the Midterm Elections.
