Weather August 14: Heavy rain alert across India

Eastern India, including West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha, is among the key rain-affected regions, with widespread rainfall forecasted over Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha.

The Northeast is expected to remain wet, with widespread rainfall forecasted across several states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Isolated heavy rainfall could occur over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Meghalaya, while heavy rain is possible over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
