The murder trial for Lindsay Clancy, accused of killing her three children in Massachusetts, recommenced on Thursday, marking the 13th day of testimony. As of now, 68 witnesses have testified, and the prosecution is nearing the end of its list. Clancy, 36, is charged with first-degree murder for the deaths of her three children: 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan, who were found dead in their Duxbury home on January 24, 2023. Prosecutors claim Clancy plotted the murders, while her defense attorney argues she admits to the killings but should not face criminal responsibility due to her being overmedicated and suffering from postpartum psychosis.

Emotional reactions were observed among several jurors during Wednesday's testimony, as they were shown autopsy photos of the children. Judge William Sullivan sent the jury out twice on Wednesday as Clancy cried during the emotional testimony. If convicted of first-degree murder, Clancy faces life in prison without parole. If found not criminally responsible, she will be sent to a state psychiatric hospital in Massachusetts.
