Uttar Pradesh teaching job aspirants to run campaign to pressurise government for recruitment drive

Aspirants in Uttar Pradesh are planning to launch a social media campaign on August 16 to pressure the government to initiate a major teacher recruitment drive. The campaign aims to raise awareness and push for a notification of vacancies, as many eligible candidates have been waiting for years. Vijay Pratap, an aspirant from Prayagraj, emphasized the urgency of receiving a notification and a time-bound assurance for completing the appointment process.

Education-related social media platforms and Sanyukt Pratiyogi Chhatra Hunkar Manch, a Prayagraj-based outfit, also supported the campaign. Adarsh Tiwari, another D. El. Ed holder, expressed the frustration of candidates who have spent their prime years waiting. The Congress party backed the initiative, criticizing the BJP government for failing to deliver on promises made during elections.
