SSNIT targets 100 co-location points in membership drive

The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) plans to expand its bank co-location service points from 15 to 100 by the end of 2027, according to Mr. Kwesi Afreh Biney, the Director-General of SSNIT. This initiative aims to improve access to pension services across the country, increase membership, and reduce the cost of establishing standalone SSNIT offices.

By locating SSNIT services in bank branches, members can access these vital services without the need to travel long distances. The co-location programme is a strategic priority for SSNIT, as it seeks to make its services more accessible and support the sustainability of the national pension scheme. With this expansion, SSNIT expects to have around 100 co-location points by the end of next year, bringing services closer to people nationwide.
