Rosol accepts apology for doctored ‘bridal gown’ image

Hulu Terengganu MP Rosol Wahid has accepted an apology from Nur Mushawwir Hrsikesa Thaitchana Muruthi, a former Penang PKR youth leader, for uploading a doctored image of Rosol in a bridal gown on the social media platform Threads. Rosol stated that he was not overly concerned about the edited image, as such occurrences are common in politics.

However, he had been advised to send a letter of demand, which he did the previous day. Following Mushawwir's apology and the deletion of the image, Rosol has no intention of pursuing further legal action. Rosol advised political leaders of all affiliations to learn from the incident and exercise caution. He emphasized that politics should not be overly extreme, urging for restraint and cooperation, emphasizing that there are no permanent enemies or friends in politics.
