PTCL and WWF Join Hands for ‘Plant for Pakistan’ Tree Plantation Drive

On the occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) joined forces with the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) to launch a tree plantation drive, under the initiative 'Plant for Pakistan'. This collaborative effort was initiated at PTCL's Training Academy in Islamabad, aiming to strengthen their shared dedication towards creating a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Pakistan.

Nadeem Khan, CEO of PTCL, and Rab Nawaz, Senior Director Programmes at WWF-Pakistan, were among the key participants in the plantation activity. They were joined by the executive management from both organizations and family members of PTCL. The event brought together employees in a collective endeavor, working towards a healthier environment and a greener future for the nation.

This 'Plant for Pakistan' initiative aligns with PTCL's broader commitment to reducing its environmental footprint and advancing its sustainability agenda. It includes actions such as minimizing carbon emissions and striving for net-zero carbon emissions in the future.
