Prioritise party interest over individual interests – NPP tells aspirants

The Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party's National Elections Committee has warned party aspirants and delegates to prioritize the party's interests over their personal ambitions. Frederick Opare-Ansah made the call during a press conference in Accra ahead of the 2028 general elections. He emphasized that the party's success should be the primary consideration for all stakeholders during the national executive elections.

Opare-Ansah cautioned against actions or statements that could undermine the party's unity and cohesion, urging aspirants to respect the established processes and put the party's interests first. He stressed the importance of following the rules and regulations governing the electoral process, ensuring a fair and transparent committee handling.

The National Elections Committee, he assured, would listen to all concerns and handle matters fairly, aiming to provide a level playing field for all aspirants and create a conducive environment for legitimate grievances to be heard throughout the electoral process. The upcoming national delegates conference will elect new national executives to lead the party in reorganizing and positioning itself for the 2028 general elections.

Opare-Ansah called on all aspirants and delegates to conduct themselves responsibly and prioritize the party's unity and future above individual interests.
