Osun: Gov Adeleke’s sister, Davido’s father running state – Sowore claims

The African Action Congress presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has made a claim that challenges the authority of Governor Ademola Adeleke in Osun State. Sowore stated on Thursday that the governor's sister and brother hold control over the state's affairs. This revelation emerged during an appearance on News Central TV's breakfast show.

While addressing some of the reported accomplishments of the Adeleke administration, Sowore expressed his dissatisfaction, asserting that Governor Adeleke appears to lack control over his government. According to Sowore, he has heard behind the scenes that both the governor's sister and elder brother, who is also the father of Afrobeat superstar Davido, are running the state.

Sowore further remarked that his perception of the governor's performance, particularly from his appearance in the Arise TV town hall, left him deeply disappointed.
