Osun election: Expel Fadahunsi immediately – SDP’s Adebayo tells APC

Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has demanded the immediate expulsion of Osun East Senatorial District lawmaker Francis Fadahunsi. This call came after Fadahunsi's comments urging supporters to kill Accord Party members. Adebayo made his stance clear during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’ on Thursday, emphasizing the condemnation of all forms of violence and inflammatory language in public life.

Fadahunsi's inflammatory remarks were captured in a video where he told his supporters to target any member of the Accord Party they encounter prior to the state's governorship election on August 15, 2026.

Adebayo further stated, "I expect the All Progressives Congress, APC, to expel Fadahunsi and any of these people. If they don’t, they are collectively responsible." He urged the police to take swift action against those responsible, noting, "As for the police, they don’t need to tell us what they are doing. We just need to see the man in court.
