Famous Punjab Park Lake Set to Reopen After 15 Years

Multan Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan announced that the renowned Shah Shams Park lake in Punjab will reopen to visitors in early September, marking a 15-year return to public use. The lake had been closed since 2011 and is now being swiftly restored to revive the park's recreational appeal. During his inspection, Khan emphasized the importance of comprehensive safety measures to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all patrons.

He also directed the completion of an under-construction cafeteria by the end of August to enhance the park's facilities. Managing Director of the Horticulture Authority, Syed Waseem Hassan, assured the commissioner that the lake restoration and park upgrades would be completed on schedule, promising improved amenities for the city's residents.
