Osun Election: Any foul play will be resisted – Accord Party vows

The Accord Party has pledged to oppose any dishonest activities in the upcoming Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026. Joseph Omorogbe, the party's National Publicity Secretary, affirmed his belief in Governor Ademola Adeleke's triumph in the poll, praising his accomplishments during his first term. The party is confident that the people of Osun desire Adeleke's re-election.

Omorogbe emphasized that any electoral misconduct would not be tolerated, as the voters' mandate and interests lie with Adeleke. The party has personally canvassed opinions across Osun and observed the electorate's consensus that Adeleke should be re-elected. They strongly advised residents to maintain composure, resist vote-buying, and participate in large numbers to cast their ballots.

Additionally, the Accord Party urged voters to endorse Adeleke's re-election to enable him to maintain and expand his administration's development initiatives. The party expressed certainty that the state would rejoice on Sunday, following a successful, peaceful, and transparent election.
