Nozomi partners with Sophos to put operational technology data in IT consoles

Nozomi Networks and Sophos have joined forces to integrate OT telemetry data from Nozomi's Vantage platform into Sophos Fusion, an AI-native defense system. This marks one of the first major third-party integrations for Sophos since the launch of Fusion. Vantage, Nozomi's cloud-hosted platform for monitoring industrial control systems and other connected equipment, will now provide asset discovery, vulnerability management, threat detections, and alerts directly into Fusion.

These combined signals from both OT and IT environments will enable security analysts to work on both sides without switching consoles. The integration also allows security orchestration and automation playbooks to act on the combined data. Matt Cowell, vice president of strategic alliances at Nozomi, emphasized that this partnership helps address the challenges of inefficiencies and potential dangers in the intersection of IT and OT environments.

Chris Bell, senior vice president of global channel and alliances at Sophos, highlighted that the integration brings OT and IT vulnerabilities to defenders' attention in a single place. The collaboration comes as industrial outages are increasingly starting on the IT network, as indicated by a recent Nozomi research report.
