Meet 15 candidates vying for Osun governorship seat

As the Osun State governorship election approaches, 15 candidates from various political parties are vying for the position. The Independent National Electoral Commission has reported that 2,339,233 residents are registered to vote. Among the contenders, incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, representing the Accord Party, is the frontrunner.

Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress and Najeem Salaam from the African Democratic Congress are his main opponents. Other candidates include Farinloye Olarenwaju from the Action Alliance, Esan Olajide from the African Action Congress, Adeagbo Opawoye from the African Democratic Party, Mustapha Adeniyi from the Social Democratic Party, Adesina Aseyemi-Doro from the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Akpabio and Akande supporting Bola Oyebamiji, Adewale Adebayo from the Allied People Movement, Clement Adesuyi from the Action Peoples Party, Masilo Adeleke from the Boot Party, Taofeek Adeleke from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Saliu Oyelami from the Peoples Redemption Party, Ogunsakin Olalekan from the Young Progressives Party, and Adefemi Adesuyi from the Zenith Labour Party.
