Left AAP as I wasn't heard: Harbhajan Singh

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh revealed in a recent podcast interview that he left the AAP and joined the BJP due to feeling unheard about his concerns regarding drugs and sports in Punjab. The 46-year-old off-spin legend expressed frustration at being sidelined despite his efforts to present ideas. He joined the AAP in 2022 to promote sports throughout Punjab and nationally.

However, when he tried to share his perspectives, they were not taken into consideration. Harbhajan claims the work he initially aimed to accomplish with the AAP was not fulfilled, leading to his decision to leave the party. Following his departure, Harbhajan faced aggressive protests outside his home in Jalandhar. He suggested that his supporters should consider the party's empty promises and question why they failed to address issues like Punjab's drug crisis, which has significantly impacted the state's youth.
