Kebbi Governor pledges support for families of 10 police officers killed by Terrorists

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has committed to aiding the families of 10 police officers and other victims who were killed by terrorists along the Rafin Makuku axis in Sakaba Local Government Area. This pledge was made on Tuesday during a condolence visit by a delegation from the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), led by Deputy Inspector-General Umar Dada.

Governor Idris expressed condolences to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for the loss of life, stating that the officers were on duty and serving their country when they tragically died. He emphasized that the officers were deployed to the region to assist other security agencies in combating terrorism and crime. Idris promised that the Kebbi State Government would support the affected families, a tradition in the state for those who lose their lives while performing their duties in law enforcement.

DIG Dada conveyed the condolences of IGP Olatunji Disu to Governor Idris, the people of Kebbi State, and the deceased officers' families, assuring that the police would make every effort to capture those responsible for the incident and hold them accountable.
