Huckabee condemns 'horrific terror' against Palestinians in West Bank, says embassy 'very involved'

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee denounced the violent attack on a Palestinian family in the West Bank, alleging that Israeli authorities were involved in the terror act. In a tweet, Huckabee accused unnamed sources of spreading a "lie" about the US government's inaction, asserting that the embassy had been actively engaged in the matter.

The ambassador specifically pointed out that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Police had been dispatched to the scene at the request of the US Embassy to remove the "Israeli terrorists" responsible. Huckabee emphasized that these actions were "criminal" and claimed that the White House had not intervened because the situation was already being monitored in Washington, D.C.

The ambassador stressed that the US Embassy remained "VERY involved" in the incident and reiterated the criminal nature of the actions taken against the Palestinian family.
