Hisbah to begin crackdown on immorality as Kano donates operational vehicles

The Kano State Hisbah Board has announced it will initiate a major crackdown on immoral acts across the region under a new campaign called "Operation Kano First". This announcement came after Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf presented the Hisbah with 10 operational vehicles and 50 motorcycles to bolster their efforts. Deputy Commander-General of the Board, Mujahid Aminuddeen, cautioned that all those engaging in immoral behavior in Kano should be aware that the Hisbah has begun this operation and anyone caught will be arrested and punished by the law.

The Hisbah officials have already been conducting visits to major roads in Kano as part of the operation and will continue patrols in the coming days to encourage correct behavior and discourage undesirable actions, while also aiming to foster unity among the community. The Hisbah Board, established by the Kano State Government, is responsible for enforcing Sharia-related laws, promoting moral conduct, and resolving disputes.

The recent vehicle and motorcycle donation is anticipated to improve the Board's mobility and visibility throughout local government areas, particularly in monitoring public areas and handling complaints.
