Germany's next heatwave peaks Friday, 39C "cannot be ruled out"

Meanwhile, the east and south regions are likely to enjoy sunny conditions once again, with temperatures ranging from 30 to 37 degrees Celsius. The DWD may issue heat warnings for both Friday and Saturday, depending on the weather conditions.
