Gatundu South MP Kagombe vows to release 400 videos exposing Ruto’s ‘unfulfilled promises’

Gatundu South Member of Parliament, Gabriel Kagombe, announced his intention to release 400 videos exposing what he claims are unfulfilled promises made by President William Ruto. The series, which would see a new video released daily, is set to bring to light instances where President Ruto allegedly misled Kenyans during his political campaigns.

According to Kagombe, these videos would serve as a daily record of the President's campaign pledges that have not been fulfilled. Though he did not specify the content of all the promises or the release date of the first video, Kagombe's move comes amid shifting political allegiances in the Mt Kenya region. Several leaders who previously supported the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in 2022 are now reconsidering their political affiliations ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Kagombe, who has distanced himself from UDA as the election approaches, has also been associated with discussions around the Democracy for Citizens Party, although he has not officially confirmed his affiliation. By unveiling this series, Kagombe aims to provide Kenyans with a clear view of the promises he believes the Ruto administration has failed to deliver, while exploring his next political move.
