Former Sindh MPA Scammed by AI Girlfriend

Former Sindh MPA Ghulam Rasool Unar has taken a woman to court in Karachi, alleging that she scammed him using AI-generated photos during their relationship. Unar claims they married in a video call on February 23, 2026, despite never meeting in person. His attorney, Aamir Nawaz Warraich, stated that the woman would only send AI-generated images when asked to show her face, and she wore a veil during the ceremony.

Unar was reportedly shocked when he finally saw her in person, as she looked nothing like the photos she had previously shared. After realizing the deception, Unar ended the relationship but maintained the marriage initially. However, the woman allegedly started posting fake images online, claiming Unar had died, leading to his divorce on August 2.

Her lawyer claims she began blackmailing Unar, threatening to kill him, and even demanded tens of millions of rupees. The court has issued notices to relevant authorities, and the police are expected to submit a report by August 17.
